Applications & Tips

Where can you use EasyTiles?

EasyTiles are versatile and easy to install on various surfaces. Here are some ideal applications:

Kitchen backsplashes: Resistant to splashes and easy to clean.
Please note that we recommend keeping a minimum distance of 15 cm between the stove and the tiles to avoid exposure to direct heat.

Bathrooms (outside the shower): Our peel and stick tiles are moisture resistant but not suitable for direct water contact such as inside showers or areas with constant water exposure.

Furniture upgrades: Ideal for renovating tables, cabinets, or other furniture.

Wall decoration: Create a unique accent wall without permanent changes.

Where is it better not to use EasyTiles?

Although EasyTiles are suitable for many situations, there are some applications where they are less suitable:

Inside showers and wet areas: Constant exposure to water may reduce adhesion.

Floors: Not suitable for walking surfaces as they are not designed to withstand heavy load or foot traffic.

Outdoor areas: Extreme weather conditions and temperature fluctuations may affect durability.

Uneven or porous surfaces: Optimal adhesion requires a smooth, dry, and clean surface.

What should you consider during installation?

For the best results, keep the following points in mind:

Surface preparation: Make sure the surface is grease free, dust free, dry, and smooth.
Measure and plan: Determine placement in advance to minimize cutting and material waste.
We recommend always ordering 10% extra to account for cutting loss. If you reorder later, tiles may come from a different production batch, which can result in slight color variations.

Test first: EasyTiles are suitable for smooth painted walls, but paint types and paint quality can vary greatly. We therefore recommend testing one tile on an inconspicuous area for 24 hours to check adhesion and removability.

Press firmly: Ensure proper adhesion by pressing the tiles down firmly.
Avoid direct water contact: Especially along edges and corners where water could seep underneath the tiles.

How do you remove EasyTiles?

Removing EasyTiles is simple, but it is important to proceed carefully depending on the surface:

On tiles: Carefully peel off the EasyTiles without leaving residue. You can optionally use a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive.

On wallpaper, painted, or plastered walls: Use a hairdryer or heat gun to soften the adhesive. This helps reduce the risk of surface damage.

Because surfaces, paint types, and previous treatments may vary, we always recommend testing removal first on a small, inconspicuous area.

Smooth ceramic tiles
Glass
Lacquered wooden panels
Smooth natural stone
Plastic surfaces (such as PVC or acrylic)

Untreated wood or cork
Concrete without primer or sealer
Very humid or wet surfaces (such as walk in showers)
Exterior walls or areas exposed to strong temperature fluctuations

Important usage information

EasyTiles is a DIY product designed for easy installation on suitable surfaces. The final result strongly depends on the condition of the surface, correct installation, and environmental factors such as heat and humidity, which are beyond our control. We therefore always recommend performing a test beforehand. Damage or reduced adhesion caused by unsuitable surfaces, incorrect installation, or use outside the recommended applications falls outside our responsibility.
